Tony Sirico, The Sopranos and Goodfellas star, dies at 79

Tony Sirico, the actor best understood for his role as Paulie Walnuts on The Sopranos, has actually passed away. 

 Sirico's supervisor validated "He was a great and devoted customer,...

...he constantly [donated] to charities and was a loyal member of the Wounded Warriors, really patriotic." 

His supervisor did not revealed a cause of death. 

The actor's sibling, Rev. Robert Sirico, also announced the news on Facebook.

 " It is with terrific unhappiness, however with extraordinary pride, love and a whole lot of fond memories" Robert posted. 

 Sirico's Sopranos costar Michael Imperioli shared a tribute on Instagram.

"Tony was like no one else: he was as hard, as faithful and as big hearted as anybody i've ever understood.
